It’s even designated as a heritage district with colourful murals depicting life from olden times. There is an impressive Buddhist temple, a Hindu temple and a number of culinary places of worship, the venerable local hawker centres: complexes with many stalls and a wide variety of affordable and delicious food. Arrive hungry.
