Seoul Layover Plan

You can have a great 10h walk in downtown Seoul. The airport bus can drop you off at Seoul Station. From there walk 20′ to the east, catch the cable car and see the views from Nam San. Climb down north-east through Myeong-dong and you’ll reach the City Hall square. There, check out the smaller palace to the west of the square (Deoksugung). Continue down the boulevard north and you’ll reach the big palace – Gyeongbokgung. Go south-east to the tourist district of Insa-dong, then climb up the mountain to the north-east to see traditional houses and another view of the city from above. On the other side of the mountain is Hyehwa (University district), where you can get on the bus back to Incheon (again, it will take about an hour).

There is loads more to see, but these 8km are enough for one day – enjoy!
